This is going to be a good ride. With all the fallen rider threads these days, this will be very beneficial to the new riders.

[QUOTE=texlurch;2892789]Let me see how it goes. As it is, if all the noobs show, we'll have 21 in the group. It gets a bit tough to manage and make sure everyone is on the same page if the group gets any larger....

No worries man, I would rather the new riders go. If anyone should happen to need a trailor tomorrow let me know.

If you haven't taken MSF you'll need to. No M stamp without it since Sept 2010.. or was it 09?

I'm humble enough to consider myself a noob. Most of my riding has been confined to the straights, and while I may have mastered the art of downshifting and all that jazz, my twisty road skillset isn't as developed.

I just wish some of those in all the rider down threads would admit that. Way too many running wide and hitting curbs.

These things with the newest tires are amazing machines. Most of us will never tap into anywhere near what they are capable of.

The trick is learning to trust that and knowing how to make the machine do your bidding. You can truly get stupid with countersteering inputs and trust the tires to react the way you want.

Exactly! The bike is way more capable than I am at this point, but its going to take some more miles before I put 100% trust in the bike and tires.

Hope I make it on the real list
