texlurch, you mention you are going to give us a couple materials to bring back home and study after the meet... should i just expect to be taking a few things home with me and bring a backpack to carry them? If so, it might be good for the other noobs to be prepared to carry a few extra things than they came with... just an idea...

As your avatar shows..... you should be bringing one anyways..
its a great Idea that you bring a back pack to also carry little things that can help you on your ride (like water, snack, tools, tire repair kit,...you get the point)

Thanks Bro!

It'll just be a single CD/DVD case. If you don't want to carry on the ride, I'll just leave them in my tank bag until the end at lunch.. then you can slip them inside your jacket or whereever...

I understand that not all the bikes have a trunk like mine does...

Which is exactly what you want.. no weight should be on the bars.. it's a steering device not a support or grab handle..

No worries.. the wife is driving her cage to Starbucks with my rear stand, so figured I would bring some donuts along in case anyone wants some with their caffiene....

Last official one was back in 2008, which has been too long. I need to start trying to do them more often....

Always willing to help out.
Make it a group effort. If we keep doing small noob groups for teaching and etc. we can use my place for like a viewing and review of material or meeting place etc. etc.

Added you on... official list is in the first post; 10 is the limit so if others drop out you move up.

There were quite a few that were interested in the other posts but I didn't have any official plans made so had to make a new thread for clarity.

Well, I've only been riding for around 6 months and have 0 track days, just figured my riding skill was still at a NOOB level.

You and others have ridden with me, so if you think other members would benefit more from the instructions than me, I'm more than happy to give up my spot.

I can always just ask for pointers from you "senior" guys on our next ride.
