Just bought a Fiddy!

Hi all, I bought a 50 (from Lokati) this past weekend, and now I'm looking for some good spots to ride.
I live in the heights (north side inside the loop). Anyone know of any parking lots I could practice in w/o getting run over or ticketed?
PM me. Thanks

What kind of protective gear to ya'll wear when riding 50s?
I'm not going to wear full leathers or anything, but I'll probably be busting my a lot.

From the pictures I've seen, almost everyone is wearing shorts and t-shirts.

at MNM, if you ride the track, you will be asked to wear at least a helmet. Otherwise, it's whatever. Up to you.

Ben does any and everything with gloves on. Ben doesn't know why. Just seems silly to get geared up, unless I'm racing my 50.

Haha...that's what I figured, but I'd rather do it on the fiddy than my actual bike.

The only bike that had me up to date, was the 50. It's stock too.

Well said ... we're all idiots for riding around on a little kid's bike, but it's idiots who usually have the most fun.

That is...until I break my bone.

Yeoljb's wife is lucky to have her front teeth after wrecking mine. She had black streaks on her teeth from the street. She has a few scars from that wreck.

Good thing about a honda 50 is they are just about indestructable. Mine has been (mostly by accident) caught on fire twice, run into a barbed wire fence, run into a regular fence post, driven off of a truck bed a number of times, cartwheeled, high sided, low sided, looped backwards and over front. It's been mudding, soared through the air with and without me, ragged out like an 80 year old hooker saving for retirement and last but not least, stunted.

Basically, you will likely break way before you break it. Or catch yourself of fire.. But i blame that on a large amount of crown rather than blaming the 50..
