RIP to the rider. I wasn't even there, but it definitely took a dim mood when I heard the story from you guys yesterday evening.

I've lost a few friends in vehicle/bike accidents. Let me know if you guys need anything.

I feel bad that I'm associated with you even through a website.

Valid point, mebe the wrong way/place to post it. I worked with her for about 15 minutes to calm her down and assure her that it was not her fault. It helped her at the moment but I'm sure she will be haunted.

All that said this thread needs to stay focused on the rider we lost and not turn into a pity party for us or anyone other than his family and 14 yr. old son/ 7 yr. old daughter left behind.

This does hold some truth.
The lady in the SUV was very traumatized. She was also hurt from the impact and the airbags. She couldn't get out of the vehicle but when she found out the rider was deceased, she was hysterical.

I'll let Trooper fill in if he'd like, he had the most contact with her.

It is a much different story when the cause is high speed and recklessness VS a simple error in judgment (running wide, target fixation).

EDIT: thanks Trooper.

EDIT: thanks Trooper.

I as well spoke to her to to her husband on the phone to let him/her know that she did nothing wrong and that what happened was a mistake/error on his part nothing that she could have done... the husband was very thankful for the information and later when he arrived at the scene he told me that he was on the phone with her and that the airbag hit her leg and that is why it was sore not from the impact of the bike... he also mentioned that she had calmed down a lot since she left the scene of the accident...

You have a valid point...

This was truly an accident, the lady was just out on a sunday morning minding her business, and Wesley was just riding a long.. It seems fate had a different plan yesterday.

Very tragic for all parties involved.

Bounce, thanks for clarifying. I just meant that as a result from the impact, she was also hurt and couldn't get out of the vehicle until the ambulance arrived.

Guys, I've edited some of your comments.
Debating, heated arguments and trying to get the last comment in is what we're trying to avoid.
