Thinking about it, I shook his hand at the Starbucks, and 15 min later this.

He seemed in a great mood for the ride, and I hope whatever place he may be now, he's happy.

Yeah, that right turn from Jack to Warren is the stop sign just outside the salt mill where there's all that rock gravel on the road. At first I thought someone had just skid or slipped on the gravel but that wasn't the case.

Mad respect to you bro, quite frankly I was one hair short of breaking down right there, and you just jumped into tending to him.

Same here, he shook my hand and said he remembered me from last years Bevo ride to GSS parade laps. I remembered him too.

This thread is really helping me, kind of read and talk it out...He was right behind me and all I was thinking about yesterday when I broke down;
"That could have been me"

7 years ago yesterday I was in a car accident and my car wrapped around a tree, I was life flighted to the hospital. I left memorial herman in a couple of hours after getting there with a few stiches. I remember hearing the EMT for the few minutes I was awake before the hospital. "This guy is really lucky to be alive, We need to call life flight"

You have no I dea how much I was hoping that was the case...When I saw the bike in my rearview, I never imagine we would be riding back to that.

Shannon and Pachuco, you guys did a great job in giving your best efforts to help him.

Trooper and I saw his girlfriend lastnight to speak to her, she is taking comfort in the fact that he loved riding and it was his passion he died doing.

Rest In Peace Wesley, be with you.

Rest In Peace Wesley, be with you.
When I passed that car, I just just hoping nothing would happen and as soon as I get out of the turn to look into my rearview, I just see dust....

Shannon and Pachuco...you did your best, made all the right choices, took all of the initiative to make sure he had a fighting chance.

Shannon you did everything I wanted to do. You put your jacket down over him. Thank you.

Also its comforting to kow that you met his girlfriend last night and her attitude toward the situation.
