I'm out. Can't get the shifter shaft off. Was only supposed to take 30 minutes but not enough clearance from the frame. If I have to pull the engine to replace a $4 part I am lighting this mother on fire.

I have a hacksaw you can borrow, or lighter fluid, your choice.

I think if I remove the radiator hoses and the intake then I can just slide the whole engine up 1/2" with the bike on it's side. If that doesn't work I'll invite you over to roast marshmallows.

Just unbolt the motor and move it. It's easier than you think...

I can't move it anymore than I have without taking off the intake and rad hoses and if I take those off then I can just pivot it up off the swingarm motor mount. Not a big deal but I don't have the patience for repairs that don't go as planned. I am so impatient I actually flush the toilet before I'm done peeing. I would be a horrible mechanic. I have actually kicked my bikes over out of frustration and just left them there until the next day.

I hope you don't flush the toilet before you are done poo-ing. That maybe the reason we are not wanted anymore at the Starbucks on Kirby!

Street tires should be doable. Just has to be dry out.

There's only a small chance of rain tomorrow, so it looks like we'll ride. However, I have to wake up at 0430 Wednesday. With that being said, I can't spend all night in the ER with you like the last time we went riding!
