Went exploring today and found a bunch of logging and construction trails over by the spot. Also found a smooth exit from the jump landing area that leads back to the road. You can sort of make a track out of it. You do the first few turn through the lot. Go up the freeway embankment. Flip a . Do the jump. Pivot around the concrete pole and gun it. You go all the way down the other side through the dirt and there is a slight left hand turn that spits you back onto the feeder. It's pretty fun.

Fix my carb today runs flawless!!! I had to properly remove the coast enrichner and cap some hoses, did the Eddie mod to the accelerator pump and that smoothed out the power band big time. Did a quick lil jaunt to the local off road park and ran into a huge tree on the back side of the hill going directly across the trail!! I tried to move it but it was to heavy.

Remind me Tuesday that it's there because u won't be able to see it in the dark becaue it's on a down hill I can see some bent forks for whoever hits it head on

newbie on a 250x

How nice do you guys play with newbies? I've had my wr250x for about 6 months and 6K miles. I know the bike well, but I'm new to dirt, jumps, drops, etc.

I'd like to start joining these meets so I can pick up on this stuff but I'd hate to hold you up.

Come out tomorrow. Most of our rides consist of stopping at a few spots to play around so you can't get left behind because we are all playing at the same place. Most of us are still pretty new to most of it too.

wouldn't be the first time I've been in the with this bike

I'll plan on meeting you guys tomorrow then. I'll be rolling a blue yamaha with a mechanical Texas horned lizard logo on the tank fairings and a Texas flag on the headlight shroud. Should be easy to spot.

. Went over my bike tonight and washed it. Found the battery had slipped from its home and tore the air filter. The fuse holder had broken off the subframe and their is a nail in my tire. Took the nail out and now the tire is flat. Fixed everything but the tire. Can probably get a tube put in tomorrow. Glad I went over everything tonight.
