At least you took the crazy trophy home that night. Wish we could have recorded that set of stairs you conquered. With that short runway on your first try there is a 50/50 chance of failure. The best part was when you said, "What's the worst that could happen....BRAAAAAP." The second best part was the bums yelling, "He's stuntin' like a mother !"

Thanks for the props. I think my DRZ hates me for the abuse. 20 push starts, 10 stalls, a busted fork seal, and a worthless front brake later, the feeling is mutual.

Sadly the SMR510 in Bastrop sold this morning for asking price. Thanks for the lead B. But the good news is I see some 2010 SMR's for $5,300 on ebay. Just gotta get rid of the CBR1k first.

I really love the drz. But ever since I saw a 2009 Husky in Mexico I've lusted after one. I think once I get a new battery, fork seals, brake pads, a spray and wash, and some black bodywork I'll reignite my passion for the dizzer. But those huskys are just so cool! It's probably best to stick with what I got....

I've thought about trading my DRZ & KLR for a Husky 610 more than once...

I might not be able to come tomorrow. Been sick since Friday. Yesterday my fever spiked to about 104. I was in the middle of a conversation with my girl when I realized she wasn't even home. I hope the little one doesn't catch what I have. Feeling a little better today so we'll see.

I know. It was a feverish nightmare that I would like to forget ever happened.

I think this whole week is gonna have weather. It should be mainly heat driven during the day and mostly tapering off after sunset. Roads would be slick and off roads would be muddy.....

Although everyone is welcome to the meet I'm pretty sure u won't make the ride

Usually involves flights of stairs, jogging trails, jumping of loading docks and RR tracks with a good 40% being off road.........

Would live to see ur gixxer ride some dirt trails

I hope that guy taking our picture Sunday was just doing it for the chance to use his camera. As he was already standing outside holding it he looked like he was looking for something to point it at in general and not us in particular.

Maybe we should have asked him to come down and get a better angle?

IF it rains and the roads aren't wet we can always go to the spot since the dirt is mostly under cover. If it doesn't rain bad... Game on!!
