BTW, in a edit to my last post. I dont get it these retards that ride without a helmet. I know its like beating a dead horse and I should have not said anything cause its just stating the obvious.

I hope this guy makes a full recovery for the sake of his loved ones. Cause, after all, we are all someone's son or daughter.

Classy guys - real classy...
I didn't make fun of anything, just stated the simple facts I got from the article:

new(ish) bike
no M stamp
late night (which raises the odds exponentially he was drinking)
no brain bucket

All that adds up to is stupid is as stupid does.

Regardless of the vehicle, riding/driving without a license, and most likely drinking.. I have ZERO sympathy for the rider.

I can find no single thing in this act to support or try to condone, so sorry!

I take that turn all the time, like almost everyday...

2dhe1k2

The rider had to be real n00bish to not be able to make that turn, and for those that are unfamiliar with that road, it's a 30mph zone with speedbumps and a few stop signs between Bay Oaks and Space Center...they added those stop signs/speed bumps in the past 10 years because of people 'hauling ' in a residential area. If he suffers any serious injury from this incident, I have no sympathy for him AT ALL. He crashed FEET away from people's homes and YARDS away from a golf course and sidewalk commonly used by runners and YARDS away from Bay Oaks Clubhouse. People are ALWAYS on the road walking/running around.

Sorry to say, he probably crashed/landed infront of someone's home. Imagine your wife or kids seeing that mess infront of the home you live in

I guess I will avoid that road now because the residents will probably ask for more city patrol because of this incident.

winner, I'll never understand the animosity between riders based on what they ride, baffles me, , hd riders do it to the smaller hd model riders too, basically, real world, he is a rider, not a very safe one, but a rider.

Two wheels is two wheels...

(Ok - maybe that doesnt quite apply to Vespa riders...)

sad how some people make fun of someone who passed for riding a HD. I ride both and thats my choice. Just because you have a couple years on a SS doesnt mean your invincible...........

very well said. unless you have a metal cage around you and 4 wheels, doesn't matter WHAT bike u have, ur vulnerable as on the streets.

not wearing a helmet is asking for trouble plain n simple.

i'll NEVER be a good enough rider to feel like i "don't need one"

Very true.....

It is asking for trouble but noone can force you to wear your helmet. I have seen my fair share in my MANY years of riding, Both SS and HD riders.

Yep - I can see why it appears that HD riders wear them less often, but I notice in the city especially, its the SS riders that have the lid hanging off the back of the bike...the t-shirt flapping in the wind and low-top sneakers.

Doesnt matter wat they ride...Its because they do ride at all that I give them some respect. They are after all my "2 wheel bro's".

Heal up and be thankful u have the chance to tell ur story of how u fkd up and maybe , hopefully , you will have learned sumtin from ur wreck.
