Relax, ride within your limits and have fun. Make sure to get one of the instructors to follow you around for a few laps, and then follow them.

And make sure to drink plenty of water the day before and the day off.

may want to bring a portable canopy or something...the sun will kick your , PLENTY OF WATER!!! Tim will be on water partol I'm sure LOL...Bring tie wraps, duct tape, extra gear if you have it, tools, if you have a small generator with a fan or something (I've found that to be handy on a hot day). Fruit makes a great snack...Start jogging for a mile or so to get use to moving your leg muscles..Listen to what the instructors have to teach you (even Dinosaur...aka Terry) he will be the grand paw with the mobil trailer!!! But above everything else, have fun!!

What's the stands for? You running something needing tire warmers or no kickstand? Not saying that stands aren't useful but just wondering since I just kickstand my SV.

BUT, speaking of stands, I have a set of Handi-Stands that I don't use any more. The rear is of the pad variety instead of spools and the front is the posts that go into the bottom of the forks. They cost me $100 for the pair back in 2006. If they'll work for you I'll let you have them both for 40 bucks. I can take a couple of pictures of them tomorrow. They're relatively lightweight, but I never had a problem with them on a 450 pound Honda 599 or my SV.

And I don't use them much any more because I now have spools on my SV and Handi doesn't make stands any more so the inserts for spools are hard to find. And I'm about to change to a steering stem front stand.

My buddy is doing his first TD at GSS tomorrow as well. Say hi to the guy on the ugly-as-sin, tracked out, white with bass-boat orange metal fleck gsxr.

I have a set of those and they're easily worth the 40 bucks. Heavier built than the other cheaper/affordable stands out there.

Haha track day went well didn't see anyones response till just now. Ended uP going down after a few rounds but got back on and still rode a few laps. I was on the green zx6. I think it was turn 2. There were a few people went down in the same area. Anyways where can I find the pictures from the race?
