If you were able to kick her door and punch her hood without her running you over then she wasn't actively trying to hit you.

I dont understand why you didn't stop when she slowed to 15! She obviously wanted to ride your shyte! Opportunity missed in my opinion maybe she just wanted to get them digits. Either way if someone is acting a fool behind me then gets in front of me I am going to do everything I can to keep them in front of me so I can see what they are up to, even if I have to stop. Just my opinion, ride defensively, I'm glad you made it out of that situation without harm.

I have heard the car thing too Ė but the circumstances were always put forth as if I was on foot and someone was trying to run me over. Itís kind of hard to outrun a car sometimes.

The DA is going to want to know why you didn't try to remove yourself from the threat. Why didn't you just pull over and let them on their way? You're not required to flee from your home. You always have the right to defend yourself or someone else if you have no choice, but otherwise, (as I have been taught) if there is a means to escape the circumstances then you had better back away rather than start shooting. And you're for sure gonna get some sort of judgment against you in civil court. It's not "guilty" or "not guilty" over there. That was someoneís provider that you just put the lights out on.

I have always found that if someone is dead set on with me on the bike, that as soon as I get behind them and start taking a few turns behind them - they start to realize it might not have been a good idea. I'm more than glad to pull over and have a conversation about someone being a world-class , but so far everyone seems to just want to forget about everything after I follow them for a few miles.

You got the plate, so distance your self from the threat. Make the next left or right and report it. Doubt it will do any good, but what if she was armed???? Could be worse.

Yeah... pull over call the police. If you saw her pull in somewhere maybe go have words otherwise ... drive off. Throwing on the road? That will just make the try harder to run the next biker off the road.

In Texas it's against the law to discharge a gun from a roadway or moving vehicle. Keep that in mind when you're thinking about pulling your gun while on your bike. CHL or not, that will come into play when you're on trial for shooting a cager.

just my .02, most of which is already covered.

A camera is a good idea. Wish I could afford one. Whatever the outcome, you've got proof. Just dont do anything stupid and record yourself doing it.

Follow. If you stay far enough back that she/he can't attack you, but notices that their actions aren't going away and aren't cute 'n funny anymore it may be enough to change their driving behavior. What's done is done with you, but at least they won't form a habit of putting other people in danger.

Stay calm, ride right. I would guess that attemting to simultaneously operate a firearm and a motorcycle at the same time is easier in Hollywood. Punching mirrors and kicking doors probably isn't easy either, unless you've taken the Advanced Rider Rage Course following your BRC. Picking a fistfight with a moving vehicle probably isn't smart. Plus there's probably other people around; it's minor but let's do all we can to show that bikers aren't the bad guys, and drivers need to be 100% as diligent as riders when it comes to making to roads safe for everybody.

So you're riding a sportbike that can easily out accellerate, out brake, and out manuever a vehicle. It's also a Camry that isn't a twisty race circuit so it can out corner it also (not that the camry could stand a chance against a sportbike on any circuit stock for stock).

You stayed, placed yourselves in further danger, then retaliated by kicking her door and punching her hood.

I should take the LSAT and go to law school like others have advised. I could make a ton of money on intelligent thinking like that.
