no one here but javi has done it. I would heat it from the under side then push it in roughly to where you need. Bolt it on then add small amounts of heat to finish shaping it.

Besides why did you dent it? Are you doing tank tricks already? Do you have a handbrake to even attempt tank tricks?

My stoppies got a lil better with the dent actually, i can grip the tank a lil better.. i tried a spreader on it without the tank cover feels crazy but i havent got it to bp yet... it came up and i just rode the hb. I think itll feel alot better when i get the tank molded and some grip on there.

I was molding it but theres something up with the electrical system at my house so the heat guns keep messing up. They just cut out after a lil while.. and the lights went out in my garage lol.

go buy one.. lowe's and home depot have torches you can use from the plumbing dept. basically a canister of fuel and a nozzle.. careful.. don't melt . =P
