the first one was bad, i edited it. Here is the info.
A Willis man was killed Thursday night when his motorcycle was struck by a passenger car on the Interstate 45 feeder road south of Calvary Road.

Romeo Wayne Banuleos, 54, of Willis, was pronounced dead on the scene by Justice of the Peace Lanny Moriarty and transported by Metcalf Funeral Directors. The time of death was listed as 7:49 p.m.
Department of Public Safety Trooper Landon Blum said a 17-year-old female told deputies she was southbound on the feeder in a Nissan Altima passenger car when she decided to adjust the radio. She went off the road, then overcorrected and lost control, he said. It was about that point when the front passenger side of the car struck Banuleos, who was northbound, in his lane. He was ejected from the bike and the car rolled over on its top.
"There was really nothing he could do," Blum said. Both vehicles landed in the grassy median between the main lanes of the freeway and the feeder. Banuleos was killed instantly, but the teen driver and her teen male passenger sustained no life-threatening injuries and were transported by ground ambulance to Conroe Regional Medical Center. The passenger was able to free himself from the wreckage, but the driver was briefly trapped.
The feeder has two-way traffic and a speed limit of 55 miles per hour, which at least Thursday night, was a recipe for disaster.
The Willis teen who was driving told deputies she was only driving to the store.

Yeah everyone sucks at driving. We all know that.

The difference is that a minor probably can't be sued or prosecuted for someone's death due to their negligence ... or sucky driving.

I bet we've ALL been in the same situation (distracted) and by the grace of nothing like this happened. I bet those kids aren't feeling real perky this morning either.
RIP and prayers for the family.
