I'm down with either SHNF or RBmx... although as I'm told y'all run a lot faster than I but I'm totally down with doing some exploring. Got the GPS charged and ready to map the trails out.

Are we sure this is Harris county land and not private? As noted by someone before, I'd hate to get shot for trespassing.

I've looked through most of the properties...obviously its just guessing.

I'm down for Sam as well....just need to figure out how to get the sticker from one set of forks to my new set of forks.

same dilemma here....or we can swing by Cycle Shack North on the way up. What's a good time? I'm suppose to meet Cedestech Sunday between 7:45 and 3 pm near Eldridge/10 to pick up that hitch hauler.

Carpool? Meet at Cycle Gear North? I got a truck and trailer. Meet early and then depart SHNF by 2 pm? CDN, could I convince you to arrange those logistics with cedestech? I see you're in W Houston. lol

Alright, so who's all down then for Sunday? I got a couple buddies heading up to SHNF today, I'll post a condition report when I talk to them tonight and see how the trails are after the 'little' rain we had this week.

So is exploring the trails behind Rio out for sure? I'd still like to map it out (and its something different)

I'm down for whatever. I would prefer to spend my entire day wherever we go...even if that involves a little slow paced solo riding for the soul. I'd like to get near an hour of ride time in and then change the oil.

Rio is closer...SHNF trails are legit....you guys call it. Timewise, Rio would probably be more beneficial.

I'd be more inclined to setup tent and chairs at Rio. In fact, I'd prefer to drive to Rio as well. I could put all day long around that back track, and when the "survey crew" arrives, we can check out the surrounding area.

I guess my vote is for Rio.

I'm Cliff Rock, and I support this message.

Just a general note.

Trail areas that can and are used by a select few but maybe not 100% kosher tend to get locked down pretty fast when you post about it on an open forum and trails starts getting too much traffic, noise and usually litter. Best to keep the info on the down low (email and PM's) instead of posting on a thread.

We are meeting there at 9 am. Cliff just texted and said his bike is mostly back together. I may be a couple minutes late, but I'll be there.
