97 officers died on duty

Aircraft accident: 2
Automobile accident: 25
Bomb: 1
Duty related illness: 2
Gunfire: 34
Gunfire (Accidental): 1
Heart attack: 7
Motorcycle accident: 5
Stabbed: 1
Struck by vehicle: 5
Vehicular assault: 11
Vehicle pursuit: 3

looks like well over 1/2 are accident related so you can hardly say they were all "killed"

Detective John Piskator suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in physical fitness training with the agency's Special Response Team.

The unit was jogging on Duck Avenue when Detective Piskator collapsed. Officers immediately began CPR until rescue units arrived and transported him to Lower Keys Medical Center. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

bagging groceries is a lot more honorable than trampling little old ladies in wal-mart at 3 AM trying to get some kids toy and take advantage of predicted conformities to come this winter

Did you ever think that maybe you're just an authority hater?

who likes authority? dogs??

no, i do not like authority when it oversteps its bounds as is often the case with today's government as well as it's enforcers. i know there are good cops out there, and i appreciate them more than most people because I know it has to be hard staying decent in certain environments. i appreciate anyone who can come up in a bad environment to be a good person or remain a good person if put into a bad environment, but i'll never look at what cops do as being taxing enough to warrant any unjust behavior.
