It looks like Rukus broke his ring finger. EMS had to cut his ring off. The swelling was getting bad and the ring was cutting off circulation.

The bike suffered a broken clipon and shifter. Small dent in the tank.

He got around a slower rider though the 10 and gassed it to try and catch up to the rest of the pack from what I got out of his explanation. Then got into 12 with a little too much speed, ran off and dumped the bike.

On the positive side - he took it all in stride and is now looking forward to getting his together for a novice trackday.

Another junkie is made.

He came out afterwards to that corner and watched us run through there in intermediate. Said he saw where we braked, turned in, and throttled up. He apparently wasn't even close to any of those markers.

CCW, to me, is a lot more technical than CW and those decreasing radius turns can sneak up on you.

Yes. I think there was at least one intermediate guy that lowsided through that turn too.

As a street rider and a first-time track rider, I really enjoyed the decreasing turns. It gave me some confidence to try and lean more. I know that rolling off the throttle in a turn isn't the best thing but it was easier for me to slightly roll off than to slightly accelerate (not WFO). Sure, I struggled throughout but I felt that I was primarily struggling in turn 10. I really disliked that one. I am left handed so I thought it was because I leaned left better than I leaned right. Maybe the decreasing turn radius as you indicated? What turns do you consider a decreasing one?

Kudos to anyone that picks GSS as their first track day.You looked more comfortable as the day went on.
