Feedback Ratings

One of the other mods brought it up and I just thought I'd put this out there.

We all really should start using the Feedback Ratings more often.
I see lots of stuff bought/sold constantly and now I'm wondering if anyone updates it.
It only takes a couple of minutes and the next headache or buying experience you avoid could be your own.

I've gotten lucky and had really positive experiences with most all MH members that I've had dealings with.
But I'm too trusting of a person and have been told I'm a bad judge of character.

Got a hookup from another MH member?
Get a good deal on a part you really needed?
Someone sell you a misrepresented item/gear/part?
Got humped dry and screwed over?

Add it to their rating and help the next guy out.

*If you're having trouble finding it, it's just below your Join Date and Location.
Find the seller/buyer, click on their rating number and that links you to their rating page.
You must copy/enter a valid URL from the For Sale/WTB page that your transaction originated from, then just put in +1, 0 or -1 and your comments.

I use it and encourage others to as well. After each transaction I tell the other party to give me a rating. And it better be good!

I think it's immoral to ask for a positive feedback...
I just threaten to ban them!

All joking aside, it is a buyer beware system and the ratings really do help.
Even if you've bought something in the last month or two, go ahead find the thread and update the person's rating.

i think you should ban someone for refusing to give feedback
i bought a chain from someone, (who somehow keeps producing more chains for sale here. perhaps he works for ek and is leaving them out by the dumpster) and i left a positive rating for them. numerous requests for reciprocation have been unanswered.

or zap the rating i left. that'll teach em

I always go so long between buys that I can never remember how to leave feedback after a purchase or sale. I figured I would post a quick screenshot.

You leave feedback by clicking the feedback count below the user info in any post. Circled in red below.

Thanks to this post I finally left some feedback for Byrdman after buying his Ruger 10/22.
