Help deciding...

I need some input. I have been riding a 929 for two years, it was my first bike. I just sold it, put a load of miles on it. My question is, I am thinking about maybe getting a 600. Would I be dissappointed? No it would not be mainly for track, it would mainly be for street. I dont really stunt. I just kind of want something for cruising. I am stuck on Honda so I was thinking maybe a newer double r. Your thoughts please...Thanks guys

Given a choice (money being no object) I'd take the 1000cc anytime. Nothing wrong with 600's they are very fast, and overall great bikes, I just like the low end grunt. My 2 cents.

maybe a zx10r. they are comparable to the 600's as far as weight and with the power of the liter bike. I like the 636 or 750 as a track bike if you want to do both track and street.

well i would def like to stay with honda if i could, and I wanted something newer with lower mileage but doesnt break the bank either, i guess that kind of answers my own question though. I was just curious if after riding a 9 all this time if a 600 will really dissappoint me?

Are you able to test drive the bikes you're interested in? On new bikes, you almost need permission to just sit on them, much less ride one.

Why did you sell the 929 in the first place? Because of the mileage?

.

10r is not for everyone. I thought it would be easy like the Honda but NOT. I used to have 954rr before the 10r. Honda does make bikes easy to ride and make you feel like a pro.

i think you will be disappointed. i've ridden 600's for a few years, then went to a liter bike.....and once you go liter, you never go back.

i know for a fact that if i traded my bike for a 600. i'd kick myself in the .

I know mine's not a Honda, but you can see how a 600 feels vs your 929 and see if you want to make that change.
