Spent about 20 minuets with him tonight and he is in pretty good spirits considering. Mainly he want to know what happened so if someone was there and could help fill in the blanks it would be good. I showed him pics of the bike and he laughed when i said he did a good job on it.

He is currently in a post surgery ward and should be getting a private room eventually. He must have thanked me 20 or 30 times for coming by and said the support means alot, i just reassured him thats what we do.

He does have family in chicago that will be coming down as well as a good friend here who is a surgeon so that will help as he heals. Currently they estimate a couple weeks in the hospital. He said tell everyone thanks for helPing after the wreck and for all the warm wishes.

Wow that's great news (considering the circumstances).
Glad to hear he's in good spirits.
Thanks for the update.

look guys not to be a or call another rider down, but injures happen everywhere (track and street), sacer is a good example...not calling you out buddy, AT ALL... but this stuff happens no matter what.

Bikes are dangerous no matter where.

This guy has no family here in Houston, except for some family that might have flown in.
Please help, visit, offer your services, condolences or GTFO.

If you still have to whine, PM me.

and if this post was one of those, go ahead and edit or erase as you please..

I will try to got visit him tomorrow and will switch the katy/cypress meet this week to go and visit our down member...if anyone is down for tomorrow or wednesday, let me know.

Got the news about this as I was on Lime Creek. Hope everything turns out well...it's always rough hearing about riders going down on these rides...hits a bit close to home. Please keep us updated.

I might roll over there and show some support. I would only hope someone would visit me if I was in the same situation.
