I'm at Herman now
He's on the 3rd Floor
STICU Bed #6
Nurses station number 713.704.2765

On a lot of pain meds so he's kind of dopey, but in good spirits
He wants to thank everyone and says "you guys saved my life"
Doesn't want to ride anymore but wants to be part of motohouston, cornerwork at track days, etc.

I just got back from hermann. I was able to spent about 2 hours in the room with karthick. From what i heard from one of attending, only reason they still kept him in sticu is because his heart rate is higher than normal (135). otherwise he is in great condition.

Also he will be back in to O.R tomorrow, anytime between 12pm-6pm for further examination for the puncture wound. Depends on the damage to the tissue and muscles, he might need further surgery to repair it.......

I asked karthick if he needs any kind of financial assistance, he told me, he is fully insured, his insurance will cover all the medical expense includes all the transportations (ambulance and helicopter ride). oh yeah, his bike has full coverage too.

Just saw this. Sorry to hear about the accident, glad to hear he is recovering as well as can be expected.

Accidents happen, we all fall down; he is alive and will get better, that is what counts.

Insurance (of any type) can be a hassle, especially when you feel like nothing can or will go wrong. And for the 9 out of 10 times when nothing goes wrong it feels like money down the drain. The 1 out of 10, the time when goes south, you'll feel like a million bucks (after you're out of the hospital).

if anyone wants to visit him at memorial herman. pm me for the room number.

Also his family wants me to express the gratitude to all the riders were there helping Karthick......thank you all very much
I'll go by and see him, send me the info 8596991442 I'm sure he probably wants some encouragement right about now, gotta be down and out from tearing himself apart on how he could have fixed this or done that. we all know how it feels afterwards just from being around it!

Anyone want to go with me, hit me up!
