I like riding.....so to me it doesn't make a lot of difference. I don't feel like I need to ride fast everytime I get on them, although that IS a lot more fun.

I really enjoy the street under the right cicumstances - Texas Hill Country - Carolinas (Deals Gap/Cherohala Skyway) - North Georgia - New Mexico (mountains). Straight roads = Trailer ---- Twisties = Bike

I agee. Just "riding" is boring. When I ride the streets, i'm jacking wheelies on every straight and doing stoppies at every light. That's the only way I have fun on the streets and cops don't like it near as much as I do. Also, since I had my daughter 3 months ago, i'm more worried about getting hurt or even killed and the track is alot safer than the street.

I love riding, track or street. I ride every chance I get but lately there has been a lot of thoughts about accidents and getting hurt. I am a single father of a 3 yr old boy with a business to tend to. I can't afford to get hurt.

I think I went for my last street ride last night. A buddy and I went for a ride, and can I tell you how boring it was? Oh the exciting part was we got to dodge some trash on the freeway
For a dedicated track bike, do any of you have insurance on the bike?
