I think people not wearing gear are retarded, but I'm pretty jaded & don't really care as long as they have medical insurance (NOT Medicaid...that comes outta MY pocket). When I see a rider wearing only a helmet, I assume that they do not carry medical insurance & are only wearing the minimum gear to be in compliance with the law. Those are the ones that me off, because it's my tax dollars being used to try to piece them back together when they go down.

Personally, I wear a full face helmet, gloves, armored leather jacket & over the ankle boots (lace-up, but I'm working on riding boots) every time I get on my bike. I'm the most geared-up cruiser rider I know, & I have NEVER caught flak fir it. I get the occasional "aren't you hot?" but nothing more.

Marty's "learn to ride" is all well & good, as long as he throws in a "how to predict EXACTLY what the dumb phucks in cages are gonna do" class.

I'm wondering why this guy has not came back to argue his completely awesome logic regarding us "stoopid" people wearing gear against his short wearing riding style... Oh ...it's just tooo hot

Saw in another thread somewhere today someone suggesting that threads like this one are actually started by regular members who have created troll accounts just to stir things up. He made the observation that there seem to be a lot of "new members" making a few posts talking shyt, then disappearing. Seems logical.

Actually, no I haven't...and I don't see how this kind of post would be welcomed or even worth paying for...it's just retarded.

I would ride naked, but that would be stupid. I will sacrifice a few MPH for the safety.

There is nothing like the feeling of having your flapping in the wind. its like a basset hounds ears when he hangs out a car window.
