Cool Who is your 'comfort rider'

Everyone has one no matter the experience, on/off track.

Sometimes a mentor, a regular riding friend, or even someone that has a personna you respect.

Speaking about the person you can go ride with that will ride with you and never above either's abilities but still push the envelop when both are in a catty mood. Someone you can ride through anything with because you know that person has your best interests in mind.

I hear over and over from these short riders in my area lately(all relatively new) saying "oh man remember that part I slammed on my brakes and y'all were swerving cuz we almost missed that turn; then so-n-so did that wheelie past me and nearly clipped my mirror..." ...only time till you hear about the wreck and "ya man we didnt see it happen" while the rest of us onlookers are saying "okay pay up, I had 5 on him wrecking before the others"

I ride with alot of you and am very thankful for that.

No disrespect to anyone because EVERYONE has taught me something on every ride I've been on, but I have a few to share.

TexLurch: I will always listen when you speak and trust you're riding, knowing you keep everyone else in the group in mind.

Azeract: Full respect for the rider you are and the person you are off the bike. No amount of ego-popping from others phase you in your ride. But you can deliver.

Dr Gonzo: Subtle but wise words anytime we speak and I gain ALOT in the wealth of information you share at the track.

MaxG's: Always, always honest and informative critiques.

Again, there are many, many more. Infact it was a post Senator made that started me thinking about the respect I have for him as a rider and leader in group rides.

I'll add more as I remember.

On the track, when I go to GSS I trust Terry (Dinosaur) and Deano, and of course Timmay (Godsuki)

A very talented group that will not leave anyone behind. Though they give me a lot of t when out riding, it's all in good fun. I have learned a lot from these riders in the last 2+ years of riding together. I respect them and think of them as my extended dysfunctional family
Bevo
Duci
Otra599
Setfast
Mudbug (permabanned for dumbshit lol)

Other riders I have the highest respect for but have been limited on riding time
CaligoneTX
Maxgs
V4lu3s
The Trav
Guitarman
Squoddybody

I have ridden with a few others here over the years and my apologies for not being able to list you all.

Wow, thanks guys. I'm really humbled by that.

For me...In Cali I trust. He taught me the ways of the Gnome

And let me give a shoutout to Bobby (Otra599) as well, plus the regulars...you know who you are

haven't done many rides since my bike stays in track, but the 2 times i remember were with Cali, we talked before we left and discussed what speed, directions, and whatnot, even tho the others left us behind he stayed at the same speed we discussed, very comfortable guy to ride with, i had absolutely zero concerns all the way to galveston, he is also just a stand-up all around good guy, thanks Cali

For me it's probably AaronP220. I've had really limited riding experience with everyone on here. After I had my wreck on 3090, I was obviously nervous to head back out. Aaron took me and a few people out one day and near held my hand through turns until I was comfortable enough to pick it up a little more. Knowing that he was willing to go as slow as I needed or as fast as I wanted made it easy to get back through. Scorpio and Captain M were on that ride as well, and both offered a lot of helpful advice and support at rest points.

Honorable mention will have to go to Cali. I've only ridden through with him once (other than the candy cane run) through the forest, although he pretty much wound up in another group further ahead. However, once I wrecked out, he came back to make sure everything was ok and found me a way back home. I think NickR6 was also in the further up group but came back with him. Cali has that cool personallity though that kind of comforts you into believing it's all going to be ok (no ).

Mine..... I've ridden with so many folks. My preferred riding partners have changed dramatically. I used to like the SMRs riding at the front of the pack. Now I prefer to ride with folks that (1) aren't going to crash; (2) aren't going to get themselves arrested, or me because I'm a sucker for a challenge and will chase people down. I continue to enjoy helping people whether instructing on track or helping folks on the street.

Tiatool.... aka BigJoe. I prefer to ride with him.
Cali..... If i stay behind him it keeps from getting tickets
Thomass.... I trust the guy. His ego stays in check.

BYRDMAN even though he tries to grab my penor, he always answers my questions and will help out anytime I need something.

If it wasn't for BYRD I wouldn't be riding. Thanks Bro.

Honestly I do not know anyone on here well enough to name names. When I ride it is usually all by myself since it is usually on a whim.

But of all of them, I listen to what cali says... the man knows what he is talking about.
