We need to get someone who lives out there to volunteer to go sweep/clean it up before the weekend riders go out there.

wow, what a good idea!!! Lets go sweep a public road while dodging traffic so our buddies can safely speed through the forest!!! I say, based on profile locations alone in this thread, you're just the one for the job!!! Let us know when you get it all cleaned up please. . .and sweep 3090 while you're at it.

jesusfuckingchrist people post some stupid these days

after sweeping it I think it needs a good pressure washing to get all the future loose gravel out of the way. Doesnt have to be hand dried, air drying should be just fine. O and fresh stripes would be nice, but add a little sand to the yellow paint to help out with tire grip. THANKS

First there is not much traffic out there, pending on when you go (and where the gravel actually is). I am however 40 mins away, and prolly would go out there and see what all the fuss over the gravel is about if I did not have to be at work late today, not just for my well being since I plan to hit up 149 with a buddy tomorrow, but for any other riders. You expect the gravel to get up and move by itself?

+1, the track ruins a street rider. Nothing the street has to offer really measures up after you've taped up your lights and REALLY tested your own limits. I've ridden BRP and Palomar many many times, been up and down 337 outside of Leakey countless times, and nothing has measured up to even the slowest beginner level pace on the track.
