Not good. Weird wear pattern, what pressure are you running?

I'll have to check on the pressures, but it is a weird pattern. I bought it with the wear there, no cords like it is now, but definitely wear spots. I'll be bringing it by saturday. Talked to Luke and he said you have BT-023s in stock for it, good for commuting, can they handle much more? I need to get the tire , an oil change , and a general once-over of the bike.

Thanks

the only time I have seen that type of wear on the front tire was from one of my good friends that love stunning... He would do wheelies and once it comes down the front tire catches grip and smoke comes out....

So the question here is...... HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU POP WHEELIES???
and dont lie!!

no wheelies for me, I'm coming from nothing but cruisers. I've only put 4-500 miles on it.

Good tires. For commuting keep your pressures up at 38 psi. Cold. Check them every week or so.
Swe you Saturday.

I had a front tire wear more on the left, like yours but no cords. I think it was due to neglecting the tire pressure and mostly highway miles, thought was the crown of the road tended to wear it on one side, I actually noted that the handle bars needed turned slightly to the right for it to go straight.
Perhaps your cords are not as uniformly under the rubber as they typically should be slight defect maybe
