I say I'm in. After last night's debacle I may tell them to pound sand next week because I NEED to go for a ride to blow off some steam.

Right on, you can definitely blow some steam off there. This spot is also going to be a perfect place to learn to back it in.

Good. I need a good place to practice that. I need to get "backing it in" instead of "flipping it over". Probably would help if the corners I get to hit around here weren't bumpier than Danny Trejo's face.

These turns are pretty smooth. There were a few seams that had me worried but nothing you can't go around. If we're going to learn to back it in there I'm going to set up a video camera at the smoothest corner to catch the "oh " moments

I will post the ride on Supermoto junkie. There just wasn't any interest on that forum for the last ride.

Next time I will post the title as a Supermoto/Motard ride.

I am also in to help with the dirt moving.

If we really wanted to get wild we could rent a dump truck and build some jumps all over the dirt area. That would have to be a super stealth late night mission and cost some money. How much is one dump truck load of dirt? It would probably take 1 load to make 1 table top. LoL that is a nice idea but....

What time and where do you guys want to meet up to fix more of that dirt? If we have a lot of cars and bikes at the spot we may attract attention. Maybe we should meet and take as few of vehicles as we can. I have a couple of shovels and a big broom.

This post is about the Supermoto ride.

KTM Tommy
I would love to have another orange bike out there. "The spot" is best during late hours so we aren't bothered by traffic. The guys have been talking about a weekend ride. I'm down but I don't know any good daytime spots so we need another organizer. Any volunteers?

Byrdman led a couple rides downtown. I think he's been tied up with work and I have been too. I don't want to try to step in and call a ride since my schedule is so unpredictable, but if somebody else makes the call I'll try and make it.

Is anyone up for a Sumo meet up to watch "Fast Five" on Friday 4-29-11? It's opening night. Edwards Cinema Greenway is always good. They don't mind bikes parking infront of the stairs.

We can go for a ride and hit a local bike spot after to show others what a Supermoto is.

I don't think I can even try to promise that. I'm taking customers to the Astros Thurs and Sat. If I make Tuesday's ride, that'll be three nights this week. That's about the limit on my kitchen pass.

It's ok we will keep getting together on Tuesdays. Next Tuesday I will be working but I will post the ride and be there in spirit. Maybe have a Thursday night ride also next week.
