stupid battery....

So this morning on my way to work my bike took a shot at a red light, this thing turned off in the middle of traffic and didnt wanted to turn back on... I knew at this point that it was the battery as soon as I try to turn it back on and it just clicked!

This is the 3rd battery I've replaced in 1 1/2 year

Soooooooo as soon as I could, I got on the shoulder and waited for traffic to go by, then all you see its my fat running down the street with my bike trying to kick start it... thats the first time in a long time that I had to do that.

So what you guys think with this battery problem? its a fairly new battery.
You think it may be that thing called rectifier (or something like that)

yes stator.
oliveras went out on a newer bike.
mine went out too.
get a new oem unit. not a steves stator (rebuilt pos)

r/r replacement is easy


stator replacemnt is easy


Diagnosing which is the cause is slightly more difficult.

You don't really need to get a whole new motor.

The reason I said new motor is because this motor has 35k on it... this bike has gone to and back, I also hear the clutch rattles at idle in neutral,
I'm going to be putthing money little by little on new parts and next thing you know I'll be putting as much money as getting a used motor with a few 1000's miles on it
I think the motor is in good condition but its time to start all over with a new motor, new clutch...

stealership warranty is 6 months, at least on the last zuk battery quit on me.
batteries + had one for $63 last tiime i was in the mkt
