Rider DOA

According to police, just before 4am a white male on a Kawasaki traveling at a high rate of speed west bound at the 2000 block of FM 2920 ran a red light and crashed into a van. His body went through a window in the van. No helmet though police say it would have made no difference. Female driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

My thoughts go out for the van driver, may her scars,(physical, and mental) heal soon. I bet one some of those scars will take years to overcome.

My cousin went through a similar experience as the driver. Motorcyclist crashed through driver's side. The roof of the car cut the rider in half, leaving half the body inside, and the engine block hit him in the head, causing severe injury. He had some facial reconstructive surgery and is still struggling to recover mental capacity, though he's done very well since.
Not to place any blame on the rider, but just remember that we are not the only victims in accident that can get hurt. As riders we can cause a lot of damage to others out on the road. RIP

I dont understand why. There was nothing she could do to prevent it. All the riders fault.

Anyway RIP

Some people have a tendency to blame themselves even though there's nothing they could have done. I have no clue how I'd react to something like this. I know it's something I'd never want to go through.

Some people are traumatized when one is killed in front of them. Weird, huh?
