Don't think so. SSB likes to do "what if" style bikes. Couple of months ago, they had a turbo'd ZX6R in the same article area. Personally, I think the manufacturers would do good to actually make a few of them.

Yeah, just a shop job. Always loved the r it was just too heavy. Lose 40 lbs and add 20 HP and we're talking.

The 's' was the widowmaker, though. The 'r' had the twin spar frame, the 's' model was the one with the infamous head shake

The s and r models were totally different bikes. They only shared a motor. The s was the "widowmaker."

NOPE!!! No such thing as a current production TL1000 anything... the last bike they gave the TL moniker was an '03 model

Here's a link for common suzuki models...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_TL1000R

... It would be a nice bring back though... I'm about to buy an '07 I found for $2k that the owner has all UGLY by trying to make it "nekid" (like an SV) and failed royally... but he has the original plastics... so i may put it back together, and drop some bolt-ons on it and be happy...

We'll see... most "sellers" are F.o.S. so I am still on the SV until I find another bike that is worth the money...

If I go until August (I'll be working full-time all summer) I may just buy a 954 or a ZX-9R if i can't find a VTR or TL in decent condition.

The last bike to truly get me orgasmated, was the (first gen only ) R1.

This made me touch myself, and tell the girlfriend to stay at home. SUZUKI, pay attention, this is the bike we want!

SICK! I like.. I love my busa, but Suzuki isn't bold enough to update that, let alone bring back such a sick TL.....

Saw that awhile back. It is nice.

I'm not sure anything will ever beat those old fat bodied Suzukis though.

Isn't the SV1000S the "successor" to the TL?

Its a good looking bike mocked up like that, but even when the TL was in it's heyday (back in....say...'02 when RC51s were winning AMA superbike championships) it wasn't competitive.
