Let's ride, fella.
If you ride like you have a level head on your shoulders then nothing else really bothers me

Im pretty sure we were just discussing not riding like some retards on the street

I've got nothing to prove out there, and no goal but to make it home the same way I left.

Nah. No high speed runs for me. I am just talking about coasting and counter-steering that route as much as possible. It's a lot of fun but a posted 15mph sign really means 15mph to me on such a dangerous road as Lime Creek. There are too many racers on that road, I.e. Ford Focus, Evo, WRX drivers, etc. I almost got clipped by one who slightly crossed the center line.

And don't get me started on them Lance Armstrong wannabes riding 2-3 wide. I bicycle sometimes too but some of those guys... dayum...

I will be in Austin this weekend, probably on bike and in full leathers lol Going there mostly to hang out with a few friends that live there or are out of town but I will be riding Lake Travis area...just random roads, nothing by design

No that is what I mean, lime creek is a much slower winding road as opposed to the goofy freeway routes people run here. Riding 120+ on the freeway doesn't really interest me all that much, since my bike is slow.

But on lime creek, I have been riding them long enough that I feel much more comfortable on there than I do on any other road in the austin/SM area aside from rr12

I am sorry that came off kinda douchey, but it is not exactly what I meant.

I agree 100%. You can put a monkey on a bike and it can go 150 down the freeway.

I have not gone down Lime Creek in a While. Used to do it all the time. I could almost close my eyes going down that road. Scooping a lot of people off the road and having cars going onto my lane from the oppisite direction one too many times made me call it quits.

I can promise myself I will just go slow down that road but thats like asking a crack addict not to smoke crack with a pipe and lighter right in front of him.

Got too carried away too many times.

+1

You don't need a whole lotta motor to ride Lime Creek.

FYI, I am Deaf. I'll PM you and you do the same for me.
I'm in Austin too. PM me if you need any discounts on gear. I have a shop here.

I also know a little bit of ASL. Not much, but I'm learning. My wife is an intrepreter at TSD.

I am sure we know your wife then. My kid is in third grade at TSD and my wife used to teach elementary at TSD. I DEFINITELY need gear. Where is your shop!? I need gear for my son. He is a sporting ladies jacket. Bleh.

Nevermind... I'll just PM you.

Hmm, so a lot more people in Austin than I expected. We definitely need to throw a meet together soon.

Here's the address, but I'm not a sponsor so I'm hoping I'm not being unethical?
