Any riders in Austin?

Hey guys,
I moved from Houston to Austin, TX not too long ago (moved in March). Do we have any other members that live down here?

I went once and it was REAL squidly. I just wanna ride safe at a brisk pace. A lot of posers. Guys who just want to stand in front of their bikes and talk a big game.

Not saying its a bad spot because I've only been once. I might have just happened upon a rough group.

That's exactly what I want to do. I do Lime Creek almost daily. Its so much more fun to ride it without using any brakes. A nice and steady pace. Lakeway looks good to me. Mt Bonnell is interesting. Nothing like a good ride after a hard day at work.

FYI, I am Deaf. I'll PM you and you do the same for me.

Is it austin? (kinda funny, but not) I bought a car from a guy here in austin that was deaf. No biggie, but super hard to haggle with txt msg & writing on paper. Im mean obviously I dont know how to sign

Didnt mean to insult

U forgot spicewood, and parts of 2222 when they are vacant. Lime road is sketchy, but ok with me if its at a sane pace.

We gonna ride or we gonna haggle on a price for a car? Nah... I can speak fairly well. No worries. We'll get along just fine. At least give it a shot. You can always say "no thanks" from that point on... No harm no foul. Either way you go about it, I respect your wishes...

Let's ride, fella.

I get a lot of customers from the school of the deaf in Austin.

I once did a guys name across his stomach in sign language.

Sweet. I think I know the guy you're talking about. Me and the wife met there. She also used to teach elementary there. Also, our son is a student there in 3rd grade.

Anyway... back to Austin area riders....

I am in the area ALOT. I am down if I am in town during some of these runs. While I might not be able to keep up with the freeway bombers here in houston, I CAN keep up on the lime creek runs.
