imo, rossi is getting desperate. his desire for some points got in the way of his clear judgement at the least, and more than likely his ethics as a sportsman.

his desparation is more likely to cause him mistakes, especially as he pushes to close the gap in the last few races. i bet he is an irratable jerk to everyone around him right now, especially the crew.

rossi thinking he is untouchable? noooooooo
I know hes a good racer and all, but I hate like that. just cause he has been racing for knows how long, and is very sucsessful, he feels he can do whatever he wants. Its unfair they let him get away with that

If MotoGp is apologizing then I believe it's safe to say it is a legitimate claim and they realize they screwed up. You know they went over the tape numerous times to get irrefutable evidence that they screwed up. I think that's pretty ****ed up though that they would not penalize Rossi for such a happening. Not to say Rossi definately did it intentionally, but he should def. be penalized...

What happens on the track stays on the track usually. Unless it is Gibernau and Rossi.

The only off track physical confrontation I know of is Rossi and Gibernutz.

Nicky hasn't been riding that great since Laguna. Next year I doubt he'll place in the top three over all.

+1 hope he does but like i said it's really a stroke of good luck because if you notice now that everyone is healthy he hasn't been on the podium......coincidence?? i think not.

If I was going to root for an American it would have to be the tornado. I root for Rossi b/c Ive been watching him for years-before there were any other americans in the championship (other than KRJ) I went to Seca this year and was glad to see an American win it, but still want to see Rossi take the championship.

I understand both sides of this argument. About Rossi's claim of "I didn't see the flag" I think probably is valid and not an excuse. Has anyone seen where Rossi looks mid corner? He looks more downward than most racers. So if the article is correct and he passed on the inside where there wasn't a cornerworker waving a flag, while it's raining and while riding a 250hp motorcycle at speed like was mentioned above then why is it hard to believe that he may not have seen it? That doesn't absolve MotoGp's responsibility in this situation, but it is possible that he really didin't see it. And why was one station waving a yellow flag but not the other one that Rossi had more of a chance of seeing? :BangHead: , Stoner apparently didn't see it either...he's just not complaining because he doesn't have a chance in of winning anything.

All any of us can do now is , , and moan. The truth is that with Hayden's current points lead, unless he does something stupid in the next few races he'll still win the championship.

Well, you can also point to all the new parts HRC has delivered. Kinda sucks to have to test new parts while everyone else is going for a race setup. I guess that's part of the price you have to pay to be the #1 factory guy. I think it just underscores the mistake HRC made when they let Jeremy Burgess leave with Rossi.

IMO, without Burgess, Rossi doesn't win that championship his first year on the Yamaha. Nicky's guy seems to be a ton-load better than the previous guy he had, but he's no Burgess.

I also think Nicky needs to drop the backin' it in style. He leaves him say way to wide for the guys with a more wheels-in-line 250cc style corner speed to slip through.

It takes a lot of luck to win a championship. Everything has to go right. No mechanicals, crashes whatever. 2k6 could have really been Capirossi's year.

Just my random thoughts. I <3 teh moto-heh-peh
