Full coverage insurance for you will be 7000-8000 a year.

Eric636....if your bill is even half of what lokati says it could be you should not even consider a new bike.......thats just plain nutz. Regardless, there are so many great deals on pre owned bikes at places like Houston Superbikes or Motorcycle unlimited I would seriously consider a pre owned.

even if you get a pre owned liter bike and you still want full coverage it will still be about the same.

i was going to get a pre owned sports bike 600cc and wanted full coverage and that was about 350-400 a month and i have a clean driving record and im 23. a liter bike would probably be around what Lokati says. go to progressive.com and get a free quote.

Just FYI if u finance thru Suzuki or kawasaki financing u r not required to carry full coverage. So it is possible to finance with just liability but just know ur taking a huge chance of urself if u wreck it.

GE Money which financed my 09 R6 didnt require me to have full coverage. I never leave it out anywhere and im a responsible driver, sometimes. So im not too worried about it, I pay 300 a year. 23 with tickets on my record.

Call State Farm and Ball Insurance. They usually have the cheapest insurance. Progressive and Geico quoted me like $7k on my 1000 and I got it through State Farm for $1100 for full coverage. If State Farm or Ball Insurance can't get you a decent quote then you are screwed for a few years.
