Similar to Ninja 250R?

Looking for a bike for a friend and just asking for suggestions of different models.

This will be her first bike and I figured a 250R would fit the bill for her. But, I also want to be able to look for other bikes for her too.

Let's hear 'em!

cbr250r, ninja 500, sv650, ninja650r, gs500f. I'm sure there's more but all i could think of right now but all good starter bikes. The 650's might be a little bit out of her price range but still can find them for cheap.

If she is short, start her out on a small cruiser. Both feet on the ground = confidence.

Good list. Not sure if I want to suggest a 500 or bigger for her though. She is level headed but I want to make sure she doesn't get something that is beyond her skill set.

I'd rather lower the bike for her than lose her to the dark side

get a 500 and lower it? lol
or a Ninja 250r would be great if she likes sports bike
if not then maybe a small cruiser would really do the trick

Can't go wrong with the EX250.

Also might consider the Buell Blast or Nighthawk 250 for more of a standard ride.

Mark hit me up if you'd like to test ride my 250 since I'm right down the street from you. We can also have her sit on it and get a feel for it. You could even take her 2up I have some gear she can wear.

Great bikes. I'm not crazy about the 2stroke sound, but I would buy one quick if I saw one for a decent price.
