I didn't even know about this. If I didn't have plans today I would have been there.

I was there yesterday. Had to pay 2 dollar for parking but I was in my cage. It was like an hour wait for the crawfish due to the long line so we gave up. Very few vendors.

I just got back a little while ago. I was highly disappointed. There were only two tents serving crawfish. One had a line a mile long, the other had a line half a mile long.

+1

I waited in that long line and was still highly disappointed. They were cooking the crawfish constantly and putting it into coolers - don't have any idea how mine got completely cold by the time I found a seat and got to peeling. Pretty crappy bugs. No spice. Half of them were crushed. Guess I'm giving up on "festivals". The spring one had decent food - but it was expensive. This one had great prices, but the food was . $4 beer. $2 water. I won't go back again.
