LOL! Nothing like having *rusty* sideplates flay your leg to the bone. Buy a chain... you might need new gears front & rear, as well. Have Motorcycles Unlimited school you on regular chain maintenance, and your next chain will last a lot longer.

!!! That it looks like it catched something....

Get a new chain and sproket ASAP!!
get the kit "pronto" and stop riding with that chain, it can damage your engine's case or your leg or cause you to crash or a lot of other bad if you keep riding with it..

SO STOP RIDING AND GET IT REPLACE!!

OR.. get a scooter! That should do it.

Wow. That's really unimpressive. Fix it right away. Pick up some chain lube.

I spent a few hours cleaning it with a wire brush and then wiped it down real good. Then I lubed the out of it, ran it in first for a while, more lube, and then went for a ride. This is a lot better eh?

Still a lot of grime, I know, but i got ALOT of it off.

sorry buddy but that chain its done... its time for a new kit!

no matter what you do... that chain did the job and its time to retired that , or it will quit by its self..

it looks like on that second picture that the chain its sticking so... that means new chain.
