MotoGP coming to Texas!!!

For those of you that follow the pinnacle world championship of motorcycle racing but haven't been keeping up with the all the rumors and gossip that flow from sponsors/fans/sources, one of the biggest of the past year and a half has been that Dorna (MotoGP's regulatory body) has been looking to add a third circuit (in addition to laguna seca and indy) to the US, and that it would be the currently under construction track just outside of Austin. Well, if you don't know by now, it was confirmed yesterday that the "Circuit of the Americas" will indeed become the next US track to host the GP, and that they have signed a staggering 10 year contract (starting with the 2013 season) to boot! This also coinsides with Formula1 signing a long term contract with the same track making it the only track in the US to hold both an annual auto and moto world championship. I think this is so awesome especially for those of us in this part of the country who are huge nuts of the sport but aren't able to make it out to cali or indy for either of the other two gp's. I'm sure there will be more than a few motohouston folks wanting to ride up to Austin for this in 2013, I know I can't wait. Links to the article and track layout below.
