Congrats dude.
My first bike was a 99 sv650. I'll never forget that bike, the torque is awesome and its quite forgiving too. Somebody already said it but is a great place for tips and used aftermarket parts. Once you start to really learn that bike you notice that front end blows. Save your pennies and get a gsxr front end. I believe an 07 is the best match up for your second gen.

03 SV650s (RIP)

Something we noticed after the fact (doh) is that the front tire is more worn on one side then the other.

The bike does track straight, but kind of 'hops' up and down when braking in the front..

Is something bent or?
