Hrrrmm....guess I've just been there too many times. I was with a first-timer on saturday out there so I took her to watch the L3 guys from turn 10 (CMRA 9, aka the horseshoe), and actually saw that it was a pretty sizable hill.

Only thing I remember is the Route Gang showing up for an SMR and getting left in the dust.

And a couple vids of highway riding without any turns.. ahhh

Hero Hill must be the ship channel bridge..! That 'splains it! LOL!!!
