Poll: Have you ever owned a "Scooter"

Since i was welcomed yesterday, it became clear that "scooters" are unliked, however, it is my contention, that most people here have owned one at some point in time, and still do. So here is my poll if you are brave enough to admit this to your MH brethren.

Have you ever owned a "scooter"?

No

Yes

Yes, and still do

The original moped is basically a motorized bicycle that you actually pedal to start up. Those are old school. "mo- motor , ped- pedal = moped".

I owned one that i pulled out of the town dump back when i was 12. Me and my dad tried to get it running.

I've also owned one of those 'go-peds' that used to be real popular back when i was like 14. I wouldn't consider that a scooter when alot of people do.

I'll vote "no" i have not owned a scooter. A ruckus would be cool, but pretty much all the others out there seem kinda gay to me.

For the record, I'm sure the reason you got the greetings you did was because you came off across as a .

"Heyyyyy look at me I got a scooter it is so comfortable I did 30,000 miles on it in a year, I'd like to see any of you do that on a sportbike!"

You could have said "Hey I have a scooter, it has two wheels just like you guys and I enjoy to ride, so lets get together and drag knee!" and would have received a much warmer welcome.

You've got two wheels, like bicycles and sportbikes and cruisers, therefore we're all on the same team in my book!

24 votes --> 11,000, doesn't matter, the ratio will significantly drop, disproving your outlandish statements.

I still own my grandfathers Sachs moped. Looking for a motor for it, and possibly a tank, if anyone has a source.

Never had a scooter though.
