to be honest, i don't really have an issue with scooters, i realize they have a purpose and most people that ride them are pretty nice. i just don't like "holier than thou" salesmen.

i really do not like this guy's approach either. This isn't the bloods vs. the crips. Step over or step through, twist the throttle, smile, and enjoy the freedom that rolling on 2 wheels provide.

I have no beef, I do ride with all kinds of bikes. However, the holier than though approach was started by others, not me.

The only thing that i feel is holier than though is I ride for a living, thus I will be putting over 30000 miles this year.

The only reason i said that cause again, I was accused of being one, so... I was happy to play one!

Scooters are bad for trail riding when drunk and being chased by a Raptor at 3 AM.

I was coming down I10 one day after leaving the court house on my ZX7 clipping along about 70.

Out of nowhere this little comes ripping by me in a red vespa. I watched him pass me, as he got over a lane and passed a semi, the head wind got to him pretty good, and you could see the scooter get all wobbily like he had a bad case of head shake.

that.

I'm not riding something that I weigh more than unless it has pedals, and I sure as ain't riding it in freeway traffic.

Now I have cruised a scooter around just dinking off, but that was 15 years ago.
