To me the riding position is reminiscent of an old person sitting two inches from the steering wheel with the seatback past verticle. It just don't look cool.

FWIW, If my commute was 10-15 miles, all surface streets (<50mph) I'd have no problem rocking a scooter. I'd even rock a fringed jacket and chili bowl lid with flames....



(I wave at scooters, they always make me smile...)
