36 mph back half gain....

That's better then a lot of turbo bike back halves.

Yeah strapped front end, not sure about tires though. I assume drag tires.

Here's a video of a faster run but with lower MPH, supposedly after the 162 mph run he was having wheelie problems all day.

&ref=nf
But 9.09 in this one.

Thats ROLLING!

I'd like to see the actual mod list.

I know the BMS S1000R is fast too, what did it end up running again?

I assure you that is a full on supersport build.....Not a bone stock ZX10 with a pipe and PC3....

It likely has the following:

Milled head
degreed stock cams
full blueprinted engine build/adjusted clearances
re-geared
clutch mods
0w race oil
ceramic wheel bearings
drag chain
drag shock
pipe
PCIII with a lot of tuning
MR9 or some other wacky oxygenated fuel...

Still doesn't change the fact its freakin bad to run that quick on a "stock" engine, short wheelbase bike. But that back half gain says it all...

I bet Ricky riding a "TRUELY" stock bike with a pipe/PCiii would run 152-155mph....prolly 9.20-9.30s...

Ill post the list of mods when I get a chance to pull them up again. But no it is only bolt on. No engine work.

Ut oh! I found this on zx10r.net page 2 post #15

Actually it wasn't Ricky that went 9.09 on it, that's was Teasley. Ricky's best pass was a 9.19

Ya I never claimed Ricky ran 9.09, I wasnt aware there was a rider change for the 9.09, but the original slip at 162 through the traps was Ricky. I just posted that video because I saw it.

If it turns out that the new ZX10s really are trapping in the mid 150s with stock motors.... That might put me back on a KWACKER..... I'll have to see what colors they come out with.....that 10 would look sweet in candy green, black and ofcourse metallic blue...

Its been 11 years since I've owned a kwack....

I'm sure the other manufacturers will all step up their game this year after what BMW and Kawi has done.
