Epic thread. GIxxer owner, of course. I was surprised it was not the case with the license plate.

I was in Stubbs the other day. Some guy had to bring his bike back for a second time. The first time he didn't like the price they wanted to charge to install lights so he went home and did it himself. Had to bring the bike back to Stubbs because he had unknowingly bored a one inch hole through the ECU and didn't know why his bike wouldn't run.

Up untill the last few models Mercedes fuel tanks were in the trunk, between the rear seat and trunk partition. Stupid people would drill right into them to mount their amps for their sound systems....

I've seen people cut the fiber optic cables for the factory sound system
thinking it was a big fat power wire then try to put it back together with
a crimp electrical connector....

I've thrown a few stitches in myself, other people and dogs.... I don't think I am a surgeon though.....

I ran an aircraft refit firm for years, and have seen some seriously screwed up wiring jobs, but THAT my friend takes the prize.

That's classic... nice post.

I had a friend who drilled into the fuel lines while mounting an amp into a mustang... drilling the ecu is WAY better. For us.
