hmm.. Saw an orange busa today on the feeder coming from Barker Cypress to Telge. He was in front of us and riding slow. on the feeder. Doing only 50mph or so. Not sure the year of the busa but it was stretched.

It is an 08 Orange Busa and was not stolen in Cypress, but at Houston Northwest Medical Center's parking lot at 710 fm 1960 w. It is all stock and has scrapes on the pipes on both sides and a paint chip on the top of the gas tank from when I bought it. The person that stole it was either really good at wiring it or had a key somehow because the steering was locked and they rode it out of there according to the security video that they emailed me yesterday. If anyone knows how to post the video I can email it to them. It was stolen Saturday at 12:44pm according to the video and apparently the rest of the video is unavailable other than showing this guy ride off on my bike. I couldn't understand how nobody had seen a thing thinking that they lifted it up into a truck. Does anyone know if it is easy to hotwire this bike? I'm asking because I had just gotten it out of a dealer for the recall and they had had it since the 15th of last month and never called me when it was done. I called last Wednesday, picked it up Thursday and they have no documentation of when the job was completed. Then all of a sudden Saturday someone rode it off from work. It is too coincidental to me, but I'm not sure how easy it is to wire. Any info would be appreciated and if someone knows how to put the video up please let me know.

Unfortunatly it doesnt take being wired or a key to just ride off on a bike. Could have been a screw driver or hole punch and the bike is gone in seconds. I would never leave my bike anywhere unattended this is houston, and capitol of stolen bikes.

The parking spot that I left it in was accross from the emergency room. Security sits right there and rides through the parking lot, plus they have a ton of cameras. Unfortunately for me everyone must have been on break or something and they seem to not be able to find how this guy got there, did he walk up to the bike was he dropped off etc... etc.... I asked for the footage before him riding off and they said there is nothing else to see. He must have just materialized right next to my bike and took off. I normally work nights until 3am, this day I got there at 6am and the bike was taken after noon in broad daylight.

the screwdriver in the ignition has been a myth since 1999ish. They make them different and stronger. Suzuki's also can not be hot wired, they have resistors in the ignition wires, unless the person wants to connect in a resistor. Found that out on my race bike that i was trying to make a on/off switch.

What do you mean, he clearly states earlier that he has footage of the guy riding away in his bike in broad daylight
