I bought my wife a 2009 T MAX last year . We both love it . I have removed 30 pounds , built my own exhaust for it , and use a older model Alum Two brothers 52mm inlet can at full length .
It matches my FJR1300 for color . Also put on a better/shorter power bronze screen .

When you lower the front 19 mm it turns in much better . Dropping the weight especially the heavy factory steel can / cat my wife said it made balance at parking lot speeds better too . I modified the air box , removed all emissions .
Next PCV , and a J costa varriator . At the time my wife is ready to make the jump to a regular motorcycle we plan on doing something similar to what Rolland Sands did to his T max . I imagine ( stock 489 pounds ) cutting near every thing off it would be in the high 300's . It would really be a fun little two wheeled toy after that .

Forks pushed up in the triple tree , 2 1/5 " holes in the air box cover with K&N filter installed . Just plan on a afternoon to pull all the body work to get access to the forks , and might as well change the fork oil while your there

Only two holes in the box side by side with 1" space between
