I am guessing you trailed the bikes all the way to the cabin?
i knew better but I ran out of gas because I couldn't get the attention of the guys in front, but took off anyway. I monster was a champ in the turns and comfy, but trying to keep up with faired ss bikes in the straights with the wind we had, was like riding a bucking bronco.

Personally if I was not with other sv or monsters next time, I would rather have my bigger bike for more fun. Oh and buy radiator guards

October maybe...

Our route was from canyon lake to boerne hwy46 then to bandera was hwy 16 to medina which starts the first and best sister hwy 337. Medina to vanderpool then to Leakey all hwy 337 to camp wood. Head north on 55 to 335 to hwy41. Head east to the intersection of 41 and 336 then head south. U will end back in leakey....
For our route home we hauled to beat sun down when the deer are coming out via 83 out of Leakey to 39 east into hunt and ingram.

This was Friday....I'm on my phone so if u need better instructions I'll post up when I get home.

Biggest thing is the amount of ppl in a group. I would prefer to have 6 or less. More than that there is to many ppl and the logistics are just to much. Plus 6+ bikes hauling causes a lot of unwanted attention

I saw that picture with the rock, looked nasty. Sunday was pretty windy in Houston, I know the bucking bronco feel. It looks great though. I will look into the radiator guard before I go out to the 3 sisters. Your radiator is huge on the s4r compared to the s2r. I might as well not have a radiator.

I like 470 to 187 to Vanderpool. The stretch of 337 from Medina ain't all that; plus the local Po Po likes that stretch.
