Everyone knows a blue and white '05 gixxer that rides near Hwy 6 and Park Row? The guy I know is MykolJ.

What's your friend's name?

That is the first guy I thought of, and the bike he rode. I thought about the beautiful 750 and was hoping it was not that one wadded up.

This is a good heads up for us to call and check up on him.
We know how you feel about rider down threads, but from time to time they actually do help people check up on their friends.
Yeah but there's a difference between a rider down thread and giving no info whatsoever.

I equate it to the approach we see in the news today. Everything is dramatized and sensationalized. Do we need to hear about every crash that happens across all of Houston? As I've said before, I'm all for posting up about friends and even friends of friends. But posting about a random motorcycle crash? I fail to see the logic other than to draw attention.

So let me ask you this.
If your best riding friend crashes, and I hear about it before you, how would I know if it's someone you know? Should I call you and verify?

The OP wasn't dramatized or sensationalized. (Although most are.) But what's important here is just the basics.

Reading that an idiot on a blue and white gixxer was speeding and weaving out of traffic and revving his engine led the police on a chase through crowded neighborhood streets near Hwy 6 and Park Row causing a cop to crash into a light post might be dramatized, but we can filter out the facts.

It isn't that difficult NOT to click and read a rider downed thread.
I have faith you can figure it out.

Helios, is that the best you can come up with? I had faith you could compose a better rebuttal; you let me down.

I'm good bro, even got the yoshi replaced with a full titanium Ti-Force exhaust. Real nice. How have you been? You going to OTC this year?

Sorry, I'll try harder next time.
My apologies, Curt.

Anyway, RIP/rider down threads ARE a mixed bag.
You get some sensationalized garbage but sometimes it might be someone you know.

Glad to hear it wasn't you, Antonio.

I will be at OTC. We have a Morton's closed event one evening during OTC.

Will you be at OTC? Who are you working for these days. Maybe you would like some really nice food at Morton's...
