Yeah, the pavement there is nice. The Blue Ridge Parkway is even nicer than the Gap. The Blue Ridge Parkway has pavement like a tennis court! Talk about some grip and smooth as silk.

Please tell me that you are't just going to ride the Gap back and fourth. Go run the Blue Ridge and the Skyway. THe Skyway starts right there at the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort.

Well of course not. I grew up in this area, so we're touring some back roads, even took a stint across the Parkway. Check my new thread for those pics. The pavement on the Parkway is great, but there are a lot of coppers up there. Although there is actually some runoff if you cook a corner, but not much.

There is so much rubber laid down in the Dragon, your tires will look like you just came off of the track, with all the bubblegum left on the tire.
