Smile Found my first bike!

What's up MH I finally found a bike. It's a yellow 2002 Suzuki Katana 600 with very low mileage. I've had it for almost two weeks now and I finally build up enough confidence to get on the freeway last night. It seems pretty fast and I had alot of fun.

Good stuff!!! Very well built bike too.

I recommend upgrading the front brake pads to EBC HHs as one of the only mods you'll need other then tires. I rode one for a few years and it outlasted some of the other bikes I had in my possession.

MSF??

Have fun and learn as much as you can. Katana is a good compromise for a first bike. Still plenty of power to get you in trouble. Get solid on the basics!

Congrats. It's a reliable bike. I bought a fixer upper once. Parts were a little harder to come by than most bikes I have had. I had to gear it due to its weight.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I went to the MSF course about a little over a month ago and I learned alot in those two days. I firmly believe in wearing my safety gear and not acting like a squid out there.
